AUSTIN, Texas - A suspect is now in custody following an hours-long SWAT standoff in Southeast Austin. Austin police said around 3 p.m., on Friday, Sept. 20, officers with the fugitive apprehension task force attempted to serve a warrant on a suspect with multiple felony warrants at an apartment complex in the 2200 block of Cromwell Circle.

The Austin Police Department SWAT team is responding to an incident in Southeast Austin. Police said around 5 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 20, the SWAT team was responding to a barricaded person in the 2200 block of Cromwell Circle.

The Austin Police Department is responding to a barricaded subject in southeast Austin. APD said on social media around 5 p.m. that APD SWAT responded to the call at 2239 Cromwell Circle, which is near East Riverside Drive and South Pleasant Valley Road.
