Agra witnessed an incessant rain from the past three days due to which water logging problems could be seen in most of the parts of the city. One of the National Highways was choked with rain water.

Water leakage has been reported at the Taj Mahal after incessant rain for two days in Agra, about 250 km from the national capital Delhi.

Following three days of relentless rain in Agra, water seepage has been detected in the main dome of the Taj Mahal. While the flooding also affected parts of the monument's garden, Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) confirmed no damage to the structure.

Rajkumar Patel, the superintending chief of the, Agra circle, confirmed the leakage in the Taj Mahal's main dome. He told the news agency that it was caused by seepage but assured that no damage has occurred.
